We are seeking a talented and innovative UX Designer with a passion for web design and a strong proficiency in Figma. You will be responsible for creating exceptional user experiences, translating concepts into intuitive and visually appealing web interfaces, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Location: Makati City, Philippines
Earnings: 35,000 PHP per month (Freelancer Contract)
Description: As a UX and Graphic Designer, you will work closely with our development team on various projects
Responsibilities:
- Web Design and Prototyping: Create and iterate on user-friendly web designs, wireframes, and prototypes using Figma. Transform complex concepts into elegant, user-centric designs that meet business objectives.
- User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to understand user behavior and preferences. Translate insights into actionable design improvements.
- Information Architecture: Develop and maintain clear information architecture for websites, ensuring a logical flow of content and navigation.
- Responsive Design: Design web interfaces that are responsive and accessible on various devices and screen sizes, enhancing the user experience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, share design concepts, and iterate on designs based on feedback.
- Visual Design: Apply design principles and visual storytelling to create aesthetically pleasing web interfaces, ensuring brand consistency and a polished look and feel.
- Figma Expertise: Utilize Figma as your primary design tool for collaboration, prototyping, and design system management. Maintain organized and efficient Figma files for seamless team collaboration.
- Design System Management: Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system to ensure design consistency across web projects.
- Accessibility: Prioritize accessibility in your designs to ensure a positive user experience for all users, including those with disabilities.
- Stay Current: Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to web design and user experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in UX design, web design, graphic design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing web design projects.
- Proficiency in Figma, including experience with prototyping and collaboration features.
- Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team and effectively communicate design decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an attention to detail.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web development basics is a plus.
Nice-To-Haves (Not Mandatory but will be helpful in this role):
- Experience with other design tools, such as Adobe XD, Sketch, or InVision.
- Familiarity with front-end development frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation.
- Experience in designing for e-commerce, SaaS, or other relevant industries.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and their impact on web design.
